This past week I've set records with multiple +50K steps counts as I walked the back alleys and shortcut trails through out Spenard. I typically do my urban exploring within the daytime hours; nearly three weeks in I'm just starting to feel like I'm getting a beat for parts of the community at that time of day.
The map above shows points where public book cases can be found through out Anchorage. I've discovered two more in Spenard since I started community asset mapping. That jargon roughly translates to identify and document what brings value or defines space or place. You can see the full map here.
