Why Content Strategy
Audiences have been consuming content way before the age of digital. What's different about digital content, is the engagement behaviour a consumer can take (likes, share, comment) in response to the message from the content/media. This engagement with your published content/media is what determines the visibility of your messaging. The effectiveness of your messaging is dependent upon finding a receptive audience for your content/media. That kind of relationship requires you to see communication with the audience as a two way conversation.
My approach is to care
I'm interested in discerning what the audience cares about. If a piece of content can evoke a comment or a share, it's an indication for what a user cares about. Thoughtful content and posting begins to provide a context to understand the common interests of those consuming your messaging. Over time through quantitative and qualitiative analysis you will begin to develop an understanding for who your audience is.
The art of soft selling is about value
Positive associations and interactions are a like a credit to user; and can evoke repeat behavior to interact with your media/content. One way to do this is by improving the lives of those who consume your content through some manner. If your brand/company can demonstrate that you care or are attentitive to their needs, they will be greatful and will begin to develop a positive association with you. Happy people are also happy to tell others about positive experiences. Your willingess to care about others is valueable and can indirectly translate to meeting your goals.

Interactions are easily measured on digital platforms by quantifying and evaluating engagement on content over a period of time. I offer the possibility to experiment with digital content in a manner that is both creative and useful. As a photographer, I came into the age of the internet by witnessing media evolve into a langauge on social platforms. My inate curiosity about others and the awareness of a user's experience brings me to consider the perspective from the user's journey.
